Furnace Lakes Fishery is one of the leading big carp and catfish waters in the UK. There are five coarse fishing lakes on the site. All the lakes hold heavy stocks of mirros and commons.

Roman Lake holding carp to 50lb and catfish to 60lb. Best baits include pop-up boilies and sweetcorn over a bed of particles for carp and meat based baits for catfish.
Furnace lake and Furnace Pond hold masses of bream, skimmers, tench, roach, rudd, crucians and perch. Pole, waggler and leger will all catch using sweetcorn, worm, paste meat or caster.
Specimen Lake is a small lake where dog biscuits, bread crust and pellet all work well fished tight to the island.
Kiln Lake which has recently opened has 18 large pegs. Any boilie works well on this lake.
Barbless hooks only, no fixed rigs, no carp to be sacked.
