Day tickets cost £5 for one rod, £7 for 2 rods and £9 for 3 rods, all for a 12hr period. Three rods for a 48hr period cost £18. Juniors [under 16 years of age] have a flat rate ticket of £3 but can not fish at night.
Groundbait feeder tactics for bream and boilies and dog biscuit floaters work well for carp.
These lakes are just outside Dartford town centre adjacent to Princes Road. Two car parking areas are available. The first is the Society's car park which can be found off Princes Road next to the Homebase car park. The second can found by going up Princes Road [from Homebase] towards the M25 roundabout and turning right at the first set of traffic lights, carry on along Darenth Road and turn right in to Powder Mill Lane. Go down the hill and park in front of the industrial units to the right on the road. The lakes are on the right.
Brooklands Lake complex has been under DDAPS control since the early 1930s and was one of the early pioneering waters of modern carp fishing. Carp have been there from the early days! The complex is divided into two areas of water, as follows........
Baldwins Lake is the smallest area of water, adjacent to the River Darent. It is popular with clubs for matches [up to 30 pegs] and pleasure anglers. Over recent years DDAPS have invested in a heavy re-stocking programme with carp, tench, bream, roach, perch, pike and eels being the main species. The carp in this lake go to over 20lbs and the bream to over 7lbs. There is a two rod limit on this lake. Barbless hooks are recommended but are not compulsory.
A2 lake, Competition lake and Homebase bay is the largest area and is stocked with the biggest fish. The carp go over 30lb, pike over 20lb, tench over 7lb, bream over 7lb and perch to 3lb 12oz. In matches big bags of bream are reasonably common place and on a good day pleasure bags over 100lbs are possible.

I fished Brooklands Lakes on the 1/12/09 on the A2 bank and had a 20lb common and a 32lb mirror on a 48 hour ticket. Used Scopex boilie with pva bag. Hard going though this lake ... tight lines.

I am 12 and went to fish on Baldwins Lake for a couple of hours and had a 1.5lb
perch and a 5lb 12oz mirror carp. Fantastic fishing for a day ticket

Brooklands is a very weedy lake. This can be overcome by the use of the method
feeder or pva sticks cast to relatively clear spots. It is hard going but
there is a good head of 20's and quite a few 30's so once you've cracked it
you'll find i\'s been worth it. Happy fishing and remember if it's easy it's
