Reader Feedback:
I think Barden Lake is good and produces a good number of mixed species (especialy roach and perch) and can be good some days but bad on others. I have fished there a few times but when it fails I can aways go to fish the river behind it instead.

Reader Feedback:
We have seen the reveiw of Barden lake in Tonbridge. The guys fishing on that day must have really been unlucky. We have just mapped that lake and saw many decent carp on the surface and quite a few swimming in the 3/4ft margins. Local fishermen indicated that the lake fishes well. So why not get back there and give it another go. Drop a line to the Tonbrige Angling Society or speak to the bailiffs who are always pleased to give advice on fishing the lake. The bank drops quickly in a lot of places but there are some very interesting features to fish to which we are sure will provide some excellent fishing.

Reader Feedback:
I looked online for somewhere new to fish with a couple of friends. Barden Lake stood out as somewhere that would cater for all our needs. The type of fish we wanted were stocked in this lake, not that we saw any of them! 9 hours sat on the bank using different methods and different baits recomended by the bailif and did not get a single bite. I wouldn't have minded staying if the fish had been biting. The weather was fine and the water was clear. Lets just say we won't be rushing back anytime soon. What a waste of a day.
