Stanborough Lake is a 20 acre coarse fishing gravel pit set in a public park controlled by Welwyn Garden City Angling Club. Well stocked with carp, crucian carp, bream, tench, perch and roach. There is also a small section of the River Lea containing chub, barbel, bream, pike, roach and perch.

Stanborough is great fishing for carp. Big fish in there. Use pineapple 16 to 20 mm boilies and catch all day long.....Tom.
