The Royal Berkshire Fishery was established in 1982. It is a friendly, family-run coarse fishery which prides itself on the quality and condition of it's fish in the lakes and clean and quiet surroundings in which it is set. Three small coarse fishing lakes make up this venue. Lake 1 - The largest lake contains carp, roach, and perch. Cloase to all amenities with easy acces for disabled anglers. Best catches are carp 40lbs 6oz, perch 4lbs 1 oz and roach 2lbs 11oz.
Lake 2 - the middle lake with quality stocks of roach, rudd, tench, perch and carp. Best catches include tench 5lbs 7 oz, perch 4lbs 3oz and carp 30lbs 5 oz. Lake 3 - the most beautiful and secluded lake, well protected by a natural habitat of tress and shrubs. Stocks include carp, bream, roach, crucian carp, perch, rudd and tench. Best catches include perch 4lbs 12 oz, carp 31lbs 6 oz and bream 7lbs 6oz.
No barbed hooks, keepnets, cereal groundbait or boilies allowed. Unhooking mats and landing nets [minimum size 22"] required at all times. No night fishing permitted.
Open coarse fishing matches are run every Saturday from 4th September 2004 & every Saturday thereafter.
They run from 09.00 to 14:00, draw takes place in the car park at 08:00. There are 25 pegs available, cost is £13.
