The world of angling is up in arms after a proposal to bring fisheries law into the 21st century was snubbed by the government for at least another year. The sports governing body, the Fisheries and Angling Conservation Trust said it was disappointed that the Queen's speech did not include any reference to the new fisheries legislation promised four years ago. |

The Environment Agency supports a variety of events to get more people to try angling. These are often in partnership with angling clubs and some of the national angling bodies. |

Carpenwater in Essex is a new, heavily stocked 1 acre farm reservoir containing various coarse fish of mixed sizes catering for all anglers. Having been opened several months now, Fish South East thought we should see how things are shaping up. |
