Blenheim Angling Society was formed in 1880 by a small group of professional men, Doctors, Dentists, Farmers etc. The Headquarters were at The Blenheim Public House in Notting Hill. It was from this pub that The coarse fishing society took it's name. Coarse fishing in the South East of England is available at club waters which include the River Colnebrook, Cargill Lake, Watts Pool, The Holybrook and the River Kennet at Southcote, 4 lakes at Turnford and parts of the and The Kennet & Avon Canal.

Full club membership costs £65.00 with concessions available for Senior Citizens, Registered Disabled and Juniors [U/16]. Canal only club membership costs £40 for seniors. There is a a one off joining fee of £10 and you can get £5 off the following years subs if you attend one work party in the close season.

Milton Keynes Angling Association has access to nearly 50 Miles of bank in the South East of England. From Small Rivers to Large Lakes and nearly 10 miles of the Grand Union Canal. Their club waters are available to everyone. Most can either be fished on a £4 day ticket [on the bank or at local tackle shops] or through the annual Milton Keynes Angling Association membership available for £30 with and optional night fishing ticket for an additional £16.

Formed approximately 25 to 30 years ago, Rank Xerox Angling Club has grown over the years and now averages a membership of 100. A full club match list runs throughout the season with friendly matches on home and away waters with 16 trophies to be won in total. Coarse fishing in the South Eastof England is available on their club waters which are the River Thames at Cliveden and Boveney, The Cut [a backwater of the thames at Bray Marina], The River Colne at Uxbridge and Wapsey's Lake, Nr Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire. Club membership costs £30 with concessions available for juniors and OAPs. Husband and wife and family memberships are also available.

One of the premier fishing clubs in West London, South East England, Uxbridge Rovers offer the angler a variety of waters to fish at an affordable cost. Club waters include stretches of the Rivers Colne and Thames, lake fishing at Batchworth, Billet Lane, Knightscote Ponds and Denham Golf Course as well as canal fishing at Osterly Lock.

Membership: 2006/07 senior subscription is £70 with no joining fee. Concessionary rates available for juniors (under 18), OAPs and disabled with joint, family and intermediate (18-21 yrs) memberships all available. The club also offers a full programme of club competitions.
